Update time!

As you can see, I updated the site layout, and I kept it pretty simple. After working on it for 2 hours, Wordpress won the battle with me by forcing me to forfeit the other picture I wanted to use, for this one. By the way, that picture you see...all credit goes to me! :) Keep reading, and you'll know why.

Oh, and just for the record, I'm back in New York..and it feels...SO DAMN GOOD!!!!
To have transportation other than my two feet...is pure bliss. I missed riding the trains. I missed the hustle and bustle..I missed civilization in general. Although I only have a little more than a week off (10 days to be exact), I'm leaving these days all up to chance. So far, I manged to go from the worst situation I could be in...to one of the best.

Worst situation so far: While on our way back to New York, the car starting giving us problems within about 20-30 minutes of arriving into NY. Now, this wouldn't have been so horrible, if the car didn't decide that it was it's time to overheat and get stuck...just BEFORE our entrance to the Lincoln Tunnel. So now, we're stuck in the middle of a busy highway, and had to call 911 to send Port Authority to push us off the ramp, to a safe place while we wait for a tow truck. Now..we had to have 2 hours for the tow truck to send someone, and when they get there, we find out that only 2 people are allowed to ride in the truck itself with the driver, and everyone else would have to evacuate. Problem is...there was 4 of us. In the end, Marla, Cassie, and I ended up having to take a taxi home, while my dad went with the tow truck guy.

Best situation so far: Marcus finally got some money, and bought himself a Nikon D3100. Now, he had the Nikon D40, that he wished to sell. I was willing to buy it from him, but because (as my name states) I'm poor and in college, I couldn't do so. In the end, he decided to pass it onto me, knowing that I would take care of it.


As for the rest of my days....I don't know what plans to happen with them, but hopefully they're nothing but good.


For now, I think that's all the updates I can think of...you guys will see alot more of me, I can tell you that.
