My ultimate quote of the day:
How many bullets must one take? How many bullets must those around us take until we realize that feeling alive just isn't enough?
-True Blood; Episode 4
I finally got off my butt (and received some green-back), and started my dorm shopping. Lemme tell you...Target has so many pretty colors, I tend to spazz out, and lose focus very easily.
I think that's how stores make their business...make your stuff look colorful enough, and you'll attract the wondering eye. Curious, the person will start to think Those colors are unique, lemme check them out. And BAM, you're in their store. They put the prettiest (and expensive) things out for all to see. But if you're a money-cautious shopper like me, you look at their price tag and think, Hmm...a bit out of my league. You wanna know where they hit you?? Their clearance rack.
I know for a fact that when I go to a bit higher-end stores such as American Eagle, the first rack I hit is the clearance rack. Then I get upset over the fact that all the stuff that would fit me (I'm definitely not skinny, but I'm not fat either), is taken by the other people, or fatties who are bigger than me that swear that although they're a 3XL, can fit into an L. So then I sigh in defeat and browse among their regular priced items. Then when I decide well, maybe I should shell out the extra money, they're good stuff, I try them on, and then there's something STUPID about them that makes me unable to buy them. Jeans most especially.
I have alot of hips, but not much legs. So then when I try on a size 13 pants (ONLY because of my hips!!!), the waist part will be suffocating me, but the legging part will be too loose. To keep it short and simple, I hate clothes shopping -___-;;
This blog was originally supposed to talk about my hectic day with dorm shopping...but it ended up turning into a rant instead. Mehh, there isn't that much to tell...I feel accomplished though! I bought most of the stuff that I would for my bedroom...my next step is to start cleaning out my suitcase and pack some of my clothing. I will do this..but it will take me about a week, since I'm such a procrastinator.
My piggy =] I haven't bought him....yet.
I also got the chance to try out Buffalo Wild Wings, which I must say, tastes pretty dang awesome, if you ask me!!!!

Well, that's about it...this post was about as random as my personality, and that's saying something. Anyhoos, I need to get some sleep, I'm going to Bed, Bath and Beyond tommorow with Cassandre (EnigmaticLyricalTruth.blogspot.com), and Marla (friend), and Vanessa (cousin). I'm getting me some Space Savers and a Snuggie! xP Night!
Oh dear! I also forgot to say: FIVE more days till Advising Day!!! I can't wait!!!!
